I regularly receive positive comments on my skin, especially how glowy it is and how I don’t have any wrinkles. One of my secrets (besides good basic skin care and religious use of sunscreen) is La Roche-Posay Uvidea XL BB Cream with SPF 50.
The La Roche-Posay BB cream does a wonderful job of covering redness and pigmentation without looking like you have foundation on.The reason for this is that the BB cream is nicely pigmented, meaning, it provides coverage without heaviness – unlike many other BB creams in the market, which are just glorified moisturisers, many not providing adequate UVA sun protection.
La Roche-Posay Uvidea XL has an SPF 50 that is broad spectrum and provides extremely good UVA protection (the ageing sun rays). Because it has Titanium Dioxide as one of its sunscreen ingredients, I do not use this on brides or for photography as it may flash back. For clients, I use professional make-up artist products like RCMA and Ben Nye, as I know I will get excellent coverage, with no risk of flash back (these foundations do not have sunscreen).
I discovered La Roche-Posay while travelling in Europe a few years back (I have used their sunscreens for years) and I’m really pleased that I can now buy their products locally. On a daily basis, I first put on a La Roche-Posay sunscreen, then the Uvidea XL BB Cream. By layering, I get wonderful sunscreen coverage.
Please note – I purchase La Roche-Posay products, this is not a sponsored entry (I just really like them!).
